Sept. 19, 2005

Internet In Motion(TM), and Kyocera Wireless, announced that Airstream, Inc. will install the companies' cutting-edge solution for always-on, wireless Internet access and communication in many of the world's finest travel trailers and motorhomes. Internet In Motion is one of the first enterprises to apply "mobile hot spot" technology to mobile markets such as recreational vehicles, public safety, transportation and others. The solution has been approved for use with the three largest CDMA wireless carriers in the U.S.

Gone are the days of searching for the nearest Internet cafe or coffee house -- Internet In Motion provides users with mobile high-speed Internet access that goes where they go. By incorporating the Ctek 4100 SkyRouter enabled by the award-winning Kyocera 200 Module, a wireless LAN connection, a high-gain antenna and CDMA wireless carrier service, Internet In Motion essentially creates "mobile Wi-Fi hotspots" where users can easily access the Internet, send emails, pictures and more, while on the move.

"Since 1931, Airstream has been providing customers with innovative design, superior functionality and the latest and greatest in motor home and travel coach technology," said Tim Champ, director of marketing and brand development at Airstream, Inc. "With Internet In Motion and Kyocera Wireless, we can now offer field-tested technology to meet the growing customer need for always-on mobile Internet access and wireless communication. This easy-to-use, affordable solution brings a whole new dimension of 'mobile connectivity' to our motorhome travelers, allowing them to stay in touch with family, friends and business associates without the need for extra stops or complicated gadgetry."

Internet In Motion customers come from a wide range of industries, providing public safety officials, limousine and transportation companies and even news stations among others access to databases and the Internet while on the move or stuck in traffic.

"The mobility provided by the Internet In Motion solution is becoming more and more important not only for news outlets, business people and public officials, but for everyday users and travelers who want to get online while on the move to look for directions, events listings or even to find the nearest grocery store or gas station," said Charley Smart, marketing communications director, Internet In Motion. "With Ctek and Kyocera Wireless onboard as technology partners, we are assured a proven, cost-efficient solution that is flexible and easy to integrate for an endless variety of applications and users."

"The award-winning Kyocera 200 Module used by Ctek in its 4100 SkyRouter provides a flexible and powerful foundation to enable data and Internet communication no matter where the user is in a carrier's network," said Dean Fledderjohn, general manager of the M2M division at Kyocera Wireless Corp. "Incorporating Internet In Motion's wireless solution into Airstream vehicles is a great example of how CDMA wireless technology can be utilized for consumer applications. Now, RV users could take off across country for months and still be in touch with family members or even work remotely with this easy solution."
